Students spell it right !

2013

Jan. 15: Today, I helped one boy who spelled:

  1. crashed
  2. locked
  3. killed
  1. crasht
  2. lockt
  3. killd
Because of stupid adults set in their ways, I was forced to tell him about the stupid rule that it is spelled with an"ed". except of course for "sleep/slept, feel/felt, speed/sped,...). Yes, the "ee" determines the differences.  But, why are people so dumb; I am speaking of those stupid sheep following rules. Incidentally, they should follow the phonetic rule: +t. Incidentally, they are words that do follow the +t rule! So, if you are a spelling facist, you are a spelling anarchist and messing with the head of kids who are SMARTER than you.
